200 year old Georgian Garnet Ring

I was so excited to find this Georgian ring!
It is a closed-back, collet style typical for the period. It is fully hallmarked and over 200 years old!
This ring is so comfortable and easy to wear. Wear it on its own or stack it with other rings. This little piece of history is just beautiful.
- Metal - 9 ct gold
- Gemstones - Foil-backed Garnet, half pearl
- Birthstone - January (garnet) and Pearl (June)
- Weight - 1.61 grams
- Size - US 8.5 / Q-R . Band measures approx 4mm wide at the front to 2mm wide at the back.
- Hallmarks - "S.M.Co", ".9.375", Birmingham, 1794 or 1820 (very similar 'W')
- Period - Georgian
- Condition - Considering its age, this ring is in excellent condition. One garnet is chipped. See photos. The pearl could be a later replacement but I am unsure.
